Lying to the west of Oxford city centre, Osney Island, (also known as Osney Town), is an island surrounded by the river Thames. It is home to around 285 households.
This is the website of the Osney Island Residents’ Association, OIRA. It is intended as a source of information about the Island. It also carries up to date planning application details and occasional news of special events. A bi-monthly newsletter, which is published and distributed to all Island households,  is also reproduced here for all to read.
The association can be contacted at askoira3@osneyisland.org.uk
